Amazon and Flipkart shut services: India’s 21 days lockdown

Amazon, Flipkart and Big Basket are some of the biggest firms. Still, these are shut down on India’s 21 days lockdown.

Besides, all malls, shops, markets are closed. Do you know the reason why? Do you probably know why it is so?

Yes, coronavirus or COVID-19 is the reason. Counted as the biggest threat to mankind in the current situation. India being the first country to make a test kit that can test 1000 samples in large labs and 200 in smaller labs. Pune based Mylab made this test kit in just 6 weeks of work.

Although, all this is happening around the world and everyone is fighting for it. Amazon, Flipkart and Big Basket have stopped taking orders to protect people and keep them safe.

Flipkart has currently suspended all its services because of the lockdown. Even, customers are the reason why every business or startup is successful. No business or startup will keep its customers at stake just to run. Finding something which can ruin many things around them is a total threat in today’s situation. Businesses also require emotions to run itself.

Amazon is the biggest business firm around the world has also shut its services in India because of 21 days lockdown. This is just to ensure that everyone is safe in their homes and spend some time with their loved ones.

“To serve our customers’ most urgent needs while also ensuring safety of our employees, we are temporarily prioritizing our available fulfilment and logistics capacity to serve products that are currently critical for our customers such as Household Staples, Packaged Food, Health Care, Hygiene, Personal safety and other high priority products. This also means that we have to temporarily stop taking orders and disable shipments for lower-priority products,” a statement by Amazon.

They have also shut their shipment services following the orders of the PM of India. Rather, the total lockdown has lead to the closure of all the firms in India.
